from Rosemarie Fiore: These photographs are long exposures taken while playing video war games of the 80’s created by Atari, Centuri and Taito. The photographs were shot from video game screens while I played the games. By recording each second of an entire game on one frame of film, I captured complex patterns not normally seen by the eye.

daddy is a graphic design/print studio based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
daddy’s main competences are within editorial design, printed matter and typography. The studio is working conceptually with visual communication in commercial projects and in self initiated work/experiments.
The motivation behind daddy is the affection for the printed medium and typography, and the desire and ambition to create strong work.

Take, for example, his installation West (Sunset in My Motel Room, Monument Valley, January 26, 2007, 5:36-6:06 PM): 9 TVs face a wall, playing films whose composite, haloed reflection reproduces the colors of a sixty-minute sunset viewed from Finch’s hotel room in Monument Valley. Or there’s 2 hours, 2 minutes, 2 seconds (Wind at Walden Pond, March 12, 2007), in which 44 fans recreate the gusts and ebbs of wind over at the eponymous pond on March 12 of the same year.
