A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Takashi Akiyama during the CIPB events. I was able to catch his lecture, where he briefly discussed the histories of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese poster design, as well as how he has come to be one of Japan’s premiere contemporary poster artists. If you’re not familiar with his work, I highly recommend checking it out. Rad dude.
