First published on Idea Typography Today back in 1980. Wolfgang Weingart’s morphologic Type-case is still an inspiration.

Another great video of Dutch book designer Irma Boom, taking a close look into her process and philosophy.
“I’m mad about books, but I hate handmade books. They have to be industrially made. A book which has been made by hand, showing traces of handicraft, to me is hideous, really disgusting…Books are made to spread information. They’re reproductions, so they should be distributed around the world in multiples.”
Plural was featured among the “Best American Design of the Year” in Print’s Magazine 2010 Desing Annual.
Check it out under the Midwest section: Lumpen Magazine (page 93), The Whistler Publication (page 99), and The (Con)temporary Art Guide (page 103).

Plural was asked to create a letter for The Society of Typographic Arts holiday auction. To help raise money for the Jack Weiss Scholarship Fund, 26 letters will be auctioned off… somewhere, sometime. Details TBA. Here’s our letter ‘O’. You can also see some of the other letters done by our friends at Faust.
