Two weeks in Urbino, Italy at the ISIA Urbino / Werkplaats summer school taught us to be authentic, make meaningful work, and explore and experiment with a simple starting point, a simple idea, and evolve it. They did not tell us what to do, they did not tell us what was right/wrong, but they provided us with a theme: Time, and guided us down our own paths. It was extremely open with endless possibilities. 27 of us embarked on this journey and created an extreme variety of work in a variety of medium from print to video to installation.
